Mar Menor is the perfect venue for any form of dinghy sailing stable winds and flat water provides for excellent conditions and excellent sailing.
Friday started off with a sunny day and gradient breeze of 15 knots which built to over 20 knots. It made for a spectacular view as 108 of the world´s best snipe sailors battled it out in what is believed to be an event that rivals even the world championships in the way of talent. Day two was a similar set up. . .
The fight for the premier places was between Paco Sanchez ESP, Rayco Taberes ESP and Alexandrei Paradela BRA…..Paco Sanchez and Crew Marina Sanchez (2,1,6,1,2,14) prevailed from fellow spaniards Ryaco Taberes and Oliver Hardera (1,2,2,12,12,3) and third went to the Barzilians Alexandrei Paradela and Gabriel Kielin (3,9,3,4,11,7) Prize giving was short and sharp and well organised Magic Marine was on hand for the celebrations and gave two 100E vouchers in the way of a draw.
